YOU just WALKED 3 Miles!

YOU just WALKED 3 Miles!

What? How did I do that without a treadmill… or a track… or the outdoors?

Our secret sauce (since 1980!)

How does the Miles System work?

Walk at Home® workouts are engineered with our Steps to Miles® System
The beats per minute (BPMS) or “steps per minute” of the music is our speed!
Each Mile is calculated into steps per minute and then to Miles Per Hour for distance measurement!

The beats per minute (BPMS) or “steps per minute” of the music is our speed!
Each Mile is calculated into steps per minute and then to Miles Per Hour for distance measurement!

If you take our music tracks on an outdoor or treadmill walk, and walk to the “beat” of our music, you will cover a 1 Mile distance.

The Total Time of each mile varies according to the planned workout, some Miles average 15 minutes or more, some Miles average 14 minutes or less! Now you are Walking like a runner at these speeds!

Our Walk Run Lift 3 Mile Workout On Screen Dashboards includes:

  • Steps
  • Miles Per Hour
  • BPMS of each music track
  • Total Workout Time Remaining
  • Workout Segment Time Remaining

Isn’t is great to know that Walk at Home workouts count the miles, minutes and steps for you … no wearing devices or re-charging!

Walkers:
We love “Step Counting” devices, we use them too!
Devices like Apple Watch and FitBit count steps and are very motivating. For our method of exercise, their measurement technology may not recognize moves that we use in our workouts.

Example: A “side step” or “kick” or “knee lift” may not register as a “step.” However the body is moving to a brisk pace and does experience the fitness benefit. Please be assured you are building fitness endurance with every move you make in the Walk at Home workouts even if it does not register a “step” on your device.
