Happy Heart Health Month!

One of the greatest honors we have enjoyed at Walk at Home is partnering with the American Heart Association and Exercise TV to offer DVD’s to get your fitness walks at home!  Titled – START! Walking at Home! We have a 1, 2, & 3 Mile workout that is perfectly paced for a heart healthy walk!

I will “Wear Red” today and all month to honor the great work that AHA does and to remember those in my family that have passed from heart disease.  Heart Disease is the #1 killer of women. Please … my walkers …. see your doctor ….  get a check up …. and keep walking!  What we do for heart health … is exactly what we need to do to control Blood Pressure, lower Cholesterol, manage Blood Sugar …. all things that increase your risk of heart disease.  Fitness Walking is always included in the plan to fight heart disease …. don’t you LOVE being a WALKER for life??  I do!
