My Road to Walking this Walk!
Continuing from Jan. 4 – …. so … where was I ? … Oh yes … I must help the outdoor walkers (I feel like a Super-Hero now) to have options when the weather is too challenging!!! I arrive at my Fitness Center that morning so INSPIRED by those walkers! My morning Aerobics class is completely full! Hmmm… I wonder if the walkers know the amazing health benefits of “Aerobic” exercise? I think I’ll start a new class and call it …. Walk-Aerobics! We will only use “low-impact” movements, we will only use a few basic steps (4) – we will sync the steps to motivating music – the “beats per minute” of the music will be our “miles per hour” – and we will incorporate the essential components of a solid workout 1) Aerobic pace 2) Strength Training 3) Flexibility ! It’s the triple threat of all workouts! And it’s for WALKERS!!!!! More tomorrow ….
