So I’m hoping someone out there can help me. I have been using my FitBit to be sure that I get at least 10,000 steps and 5 miles a day of walking in. I have been doing this for the past month, I am also tracking my calorie intake which I try to keep at 1500 (supposedly I’m burning at least 2100 a day) but I’m still not losing any weight. I am getting rather frustrated. Anyone out there with any great ideas for me?? Thanks!! BTW Leslie I LOVE you DVD’s!!

  • Is my story any excellent? Many thanks yous! :)?

I started walking with Leslie using her DVD’s on January 8, 2012. I absolutely love the workouts, I am motivated and quickly becoming addicted to walking. I lost my son who was 23 years old in an accident 21 months ago and have really struggled to stay motivated. I stumbled across Leslie’s 4 fast miles DVD and decided to give it a try. Every day I pop in the video I look at my sons picture and think I am going to do it for him. When I am done the work out I look at that same picture and tell him I did it and I feel stronger inside. The walk is good not only for my physical health but also my mental health. Leslie you are an inspiration and a motivation to me to keep trying to move forward. So far I have done 2 of the 21 day challenges and feel stronger each time. Really looking forward to the next one. God Bless.

I started walking with Leslie in the 80’s and have kept on walking with 2 cancers and a knee replacement. I just keep on with her new DVD’s. I feel great.

Just received Leslie’s book and a free DVD from the walk challenge. Thank you very much. It was such a wonderful surprise. I have been walking for a year and 3 months. I have lost 60 pounds from Walk Away the Pounds and Walk at Home. I love walking and have Leslie to thank for helping me make walking a part of my life style. It isn’t just the pounds lost, it is the confidence gained. My cholesterol levels are healthy now as well. I feel so much better. Thank you, thank you, thank you Leslie for the motivation you impart!

I have always struggled with my weight. I am having some health issues and need to lose weight. I tried walk at home in the past and stopped. Now I realize that I have got to get motivated and stay that way. Recently I have started doing the DVDs again. Thank you Leslie.

I am a recent Leslie fan. When my mom told me about “walking” workouts, I thought it was kinda lame (I know, I know, I’m sorry!!). But, she recently loaned me one of hers, and I got hooked. I have only been doing them consistently for less than a month, but I’ve already lost about 4 pounds. I have about 25 more to go, but I have finally found a workout I can stick to. It works, but it’s not to overwhelming. I started out only doing a mile a day. Now I am doing at least 3 a day, and sometimes more. I am 30 years old and have a 2 year old, and really want to lose some more weight before having another baby. Plus, I love that this is something I could keep doing when I do decide to have another baby, because it’s not getting down on the floor and doing crazy stuff, and I can adapt it to what works for me. Thanks Leslie!
