      A Closer 2 Mile Walk is from one of Leslie’s older workout series. I have it and I love it. Check to see if it’s on Leslie’s website. If not, I know Collage VIdeo sells it, or you can see if your public library has a copy.

    I have never done this type of workout before and I need some advice. I am a happy 290 pound woman who has been very sedentary since I retired in 2009. I’m in need of getting in shape as I try to lose this weight. Can someone recommend one of the DVDs that would be good for a person in such poor shape? And, by the way, I HATE to exercise! Thanks.

      Congratulations on getting moving again!
      I started walking with Leslie after my c section and my starting weight was 270 and I started with a mile and now try for 3 to 5 per day and I lost 25 in 3 months! If I can do it girl anyone can do it! I just listen to my body and stop when I need to it’s been amazing

      Good for you for wanting to get in shape and be healthy! Leslie says it is never too late to get in shape! I would personally recommend any of her 1 mile DVD’s to get started. Go at your own pace even if you can only do a few minutes. You will work your way up. I hated exercising a year ago but have faithfully been doing Leslie’s dvd’s and love it! I have lost weight and improved my heart, lungs, and blood pressure!! You can buy her dvd’s on Amazon and just start with a mile at a time. Best wishes!!

    ive been walking awaw the pounds since 1998, when i had VHS tapes!, I started during the spring because I didn’t want to go to a gym and be lare for classes or not have a spin bike to use. Love Leslie’s group of walkers and recently bought thr 4 big miles dvd. i use my walkaway the waistline belt with the tubing I bought on the slower miles. .

    I’ve been walking with Leslie for about a year now. Love it, love it.❤️❤️I try to do 3 to 5 miles at least 5 days a week. I’m 65 years old and feel better than when I was younger. I’ve also been on a weight loss program and have lost nearly 40 lbs. I can now climb stairs without holding on to the rails. . Nearly off of all medication for diabetes and blood pressure. Can’t recommend it enough!

    So excited for the challenge . Got the daily walk app, and I LOVE it. Have been walking with Leslie since 2010, lost 110 lbs, and have kept it OFF..yeah!     I have started this challenge and have actually committed myself everyday so far. It feels so good. I am someone that has struggled with hypothyroidism for 15 years and my weight went from 135 to 218 in those years up & down. I finally started doing ketogenic diet (no carb) for 2 months going on 3 months & this is the first time in years that I was actually to get my weight down to 200 pounds actually now it is 196 have not seen that number in years. I feel good & now I can workout 30-1 hour everyday. life changes & exercise makes a different when you can. I started with 1 mile DVDs and moved step by step to 3-5 miles. Great job ladies. We can beat THYROID DISEASES.

    Day 7 weather is beautiful so I took my daily app outside. I did 1 mile walk prior to turning on the app the music helped me keep a great pace.

    I’ve taken on the 21 day challenge and I broke plateau after 5 sessions. From being 165ish in October now am at 161. I am loving my walk with Leslie. Will get back to give an update day before Thanksgiving. Go go go Walkers. We can do it!

    Well we are almost there. Thanksgiving in not many days. I am proud of those that are just up & moving. Even if it seems hard just press on at least move. I can remember not too long ago I didn’t have any energy & couldn’t even do but 1 mile but that is good even if you do 1 mile & that’s what I kept doing until now I can do 5 miles. It only take you to just move. Not moving is the worst that you can do that your body. Leslie always says this in her video that’s what I love about her, she says if you can’t do all the moves just walk in place. Let’s do this. I was 218 in August, now I am 197. I have not seen under 200 in 15 years.

    I have the app and I use it on my smart TV. I have been doing this challenge and I have lost weight! I am so excited. I am getting more fit than I have ever been and I just turned 40! Getting started with the app was the best decision I ever made. I don’t get bored because each day is a new video with a new walk challenge. And boy are they challenging but I love it.
